This bracket bolts on in place of your factory 22R exhaust heat shield on the LH inner frame rail. It holds the Wix 24019 Coolant Filter Head, as well as the Derale 25708 Oil Filter Head. It positions them in a convenient spot to connect to your OM617 coolant and oil ports.
Furthermore, this allows you to use the TDI liquid oil cooler with convenient hose routing.
