This is my R&D build for the 96-04 OM617 Toyota swaps. This has the only automatic A340 adapter I've ever made. Demand for 96-04 parts is almost non-existent, as is the demand for automatic trans adapters. Rather than undoing my hundreds of hours of hard work, I've decided to sell the vehicle complete, as-is. I'm now offering this far below cost. I have $12,400 in this project with labor NOT included. That means, if you want to do a 3rd gen OM617 build like this one, you will be at least $12,400 into it PLUS dozens, if not hundreds, of hours. This includes the price for all parts, like big brake upgrade, rock sliders, etc.

I have approx. 10k miles on the swap. I've driven it to Weeping Water, NE several times. I also wheeled it at Toyota Jamboree in Texas.

The A340 in it right now either needs rebuilt or replaced. Sometimes it drives like normal, sometimes it won't move. It could be as simple as shift solenoids. You could fix it or drop in a good A340 and drive away. Or, you could do an R150 swap.

Engine bay:
-The best OM617 donor engine I've ever owned. This is the engine I used in my "cold weather testing". Also known on my socialmedia as #50shadesofgrey
-7.5mm Dieselmeken pump
-All of my engine parts including oil filter relocator, tstat housing, EGR delete, serpentine conversion, 4711 AC, TC PS pump, AD230 ALT, belt-driven vac pump
-Working cruise control
-Coolant bypass filter
-My 34/78 battery tray
-New radiator
-All new AC system other than evaporator, with 4711 compressor. Blows colder than the factory air did.
-Intercooler and cold air intake that I tested to ensure flows enough air.
-Rebuilt injectors
-New glow plugs, reamed when installed
-Dual oil filters
